Throw A Hershey’s Kisses Party

Hershey’s Kisses come in a variety of flavors and colors depending on the season and if you’re looking for a way to make a party a little unique, throw a Kisses Party! Complete with crafts you can make and do with Hershey’s Kisses and recipes straight from the Hershey’s kitchens to serve.

The Hershey site is loaded with recipes for a lot of their products and that’s no exception for the kisses. Your best bet is to pick out a few of their cookies and bars, I’ll make my recommendations for recipes later. For now, let’s get onto the crafts you can make with Hershey’s kisses.

Kisses Crafts site has a lot of Christmas/Holiday, Valentines type crafts and spring, but not so much fall, Halloween or general. So we’ll turn to the internet as well to see what other crafty types out there have come up with.

Give Kisses this Fall

This is a great little treat to hand out around the office, at school or to party guests thanking them for coming. Colorful fall leaves made from cardstock wither Hershey’s kisses glued on!

What you need:
Cardstock (green, yellow, red and orange)
Maple leaf template (cut from paper or cardstock)
Hershey’s kisses
Low temp glue gun (hot will melt the foil!)
embellishments (optional)

1. Cut your templates out and place on cardstock, trace with pencil.

2. Cut out your maple leaves from the cardstock.

3. Apply a small dab of glue to the bottom of the Hershey’s kisses and press onto the cardstock leaves.

4. Embellish if desired!

Create Tealights with Fall Leaves

There are a lot of beautiful fall leaves out there drifting their way towards the ground. Hurry up and get crafty with them before they’re all gone!

What You Need:
Glue gun and clear glue sticks
Cork board, 3x3inches or whatever you want
Fresh, brightly colored fall leaves from outside
6 small acorns
1 tea light

Be sure to start with fresh leaves because as they dry, they will shrivel up and curl a little!

1. Apply a small amount of glue to the base of each leaf (leaving the stems on for now) and attach to the cork board, one at a time.

Alternate the colors so that reds, yellows and greens are spread out all around and leave an opening in the center large enough for the tea light to sit in.

2. Cut off the stems with an XActo knife once the glue has set.

3. Glue two or three acorns together to create a bunch effect.

4. Once the glue on the acorns has hardened, glue the bunches around where the tealight will sit. But NOT to the tea light.

5. Set the tealight in place.

6. The leaves will dry out and curl up over the next couple of days, so don’t leave the tealight burning attended!
